Hi
Ben,
No problems feeding the
dipole directly, bypassing the internal tuner, I have a dipole cut exactly for
80m (3729Khz) and get good reports when I check on a daily net.? One just
have to make sure the dipole is cut to the frequency and present a 50 ohm load
to the PRC320 transmitter.? ( I use an antenna analyzer to check the
antenna beforehand). Have fun JC VE7OI (Vancouver

Yes JC, have been trying my 320 via the rf o/p BNC on the rear
today on 20 and 80Mtrs. All seems fine so I think for future portable ops I'll
be using this option into a cut dipole etc.
