I am not sure about nets stateside, I live in the UK, we have regular nets here on 80mtrs around 3,615khz.

As for amps that can operate with your radio, there is the TA 940B, the TA 4044, the TA 4034, take your pick, I have no other info, save to say you will probably need a tuner after the amp
