TRA-931 Syncal 30 battery info needed
Everyone,
????????????????The
Syncal 30 battery pack uses Sub 'D' cells (rare now), and there is a 'Hopping'
version of the Syncal 30... the synthesiser was a new 'upgrade' and was
agile... I have had 4 of them! The Compak 8 was originally a Labgear product
but PYE bought them out. The antenna socket takes a coaxial (tubular) sleeve
tuned matching unit with a 2 meter whip on top of that (3 metres total length)
they are 2 - 12 MHz (but will do top band), had 35 'new old stock' ones some
45 years ago and aligned and supplied them?to the UK Air Cadets, nice
simple kit. They are USB or LSB (and CW) the USB/LSB selection is done by a
primary xtal then the channel frequency was frequency in/out plus 10.7 MHz
(plus or minus 2.5 KHz) as I remember... I have the manual if you need any
more info.
