Beginning with the voice net on March 13, which is also the first day of Daylight Saving time, we will return to 15-minute net segments.? When HF conditions were poor and the volume of check-ins were smaller, we could fairly easily accommodate 10-minute segments.? Now that HF band conditions are markedly improving and we’ve logged over 75 check-ins during the last two nets (could we hit 100 by the end of the year?), this change is essential.
I’ve noticed on the last few nets there are stations checking-in on 60 meters using transmit bandwidths greater than 2.8 KHz.? This is a violation of FCC rules pertaining to Amateur Radio’s secondary allocation on this band.? Please insure that your transmit upper bandpass is set not to exceed 2800 Hz (2.8 KHz) before transmitting on 60 meters.? I enjoy using greater transmit bandwidths because I’m an audiophile.? I really get it! ?But on the 60 Meter band, I narrow my upper bandpass to comply with the regulation.? This limitation has been imposed for good reason.? We share 60 Meters with government stations who operate with primary privileges.? Please remember this whenever you utilize 60 meters.

Thank you for your continued support of the Auxcomm nets, and please let me know if you have any questions.? 73! ?????
