OK, now I am confused.? I just signed up George Trapp for the U-106 Project, and I looked at the list of projects There are four SNP Groups ¡±below¡± U106, including the second from the bottom, the R-Z18_Subgroups Project, which specifically states ¡°The R-Z18 and Subgroups project is researching Z18, L257 and all other SNPs and clusters downstream of Z18. It is directly downstream of U106 and parallel to Z381.¡± ? I thought you said the reason we couldn¡¯t start our own R-S8661 Project at FTDNA, was because the U106 group had priority and did not allow groups to form ¡°downstream¡± of them, or else people would skip their project and go directly to the more specific.? How, then, did these other four groups start? ? Jim ?

I'll also make an announcement in the U106 Yahoo group that we've started this group in case other people who are S6881 and not BigY tested want to join along with all the other BigY people in our group who don't know about this group yet.
