?My earliest known direct ancestor is proven to have lived in Clifton North Carolina as early as about 1790. His name was Alexander Latham and there is substantial evidence that he was born in Cecil County Maryland about 1756. There were numerous Lathams in that part of Maryland dating back to the 1600¡¯s, but so far I am unable find a link.?
I live in Portland Oregon. In mid July I have a family reunion in North Carolina. My family will be very interested to understand how we are related to those of you on this forum. Let me know if there is anything else you think might interest me or my closest family.?
