My kit # is 202339 (Caldwell). ?The Group Administrator is listed as Gail Ridell and I couldn’t see any way to add your name but updated the access from Limited to Advanced. ?Hope that is correct but please let me know if it isn’t.

In hind site it’s poor terminology but I’m trying to make it very clear that you should not purchase anything that you don’t already own for this purpose. The original Big Y and Big Y 500 included the BAM free of charge. Big Y 700 removed it in order to hit a lower price point. My firm opinion is that no-one should purchase these BAMs as they are part of the process that FTDNA needs to create to deliver results in the first place. It should be free and we need to make that clear.
This is indeed the case with your kit. Everyone that has a "Download VCF” option I am grabbing that if it’s not already been contributed to the YDNA Warehouse. The plan is to use a more manual process to work these kits into my experimental tree after completing this endeavor. I would estimate that will happen in early 2025 to give me a couple months to complete this phase.
