Then, join us September 30th~October 1st, along with everyone else who has learned these same three songs, and sing, sing, sing!??We need foursomes of singers, so slots will be filled in equal numbers of voice parts. We cannot stress this enough. ?So Register now and we'll get the Music & Learning Tracks right off to you!

The 2023 Academy schedule:

In addition, there will be the coveted Summa Cum Laude Singer award. Think about who you most enjoyed singing with in your quartets - she should be encouraging, she should know her music cold, and make everybody sound as good as they can.??Each Academy student will have a chance to vote, and then will present some awards!!

Subject: Summer Sizzler Exit Survey
?
Hello All!

I missed seeing you all at Sizzler!?
Thank you to all who planned, performed, shared knowledge, and created a safe and fun environment for everyone.
I must say, the reviews I've heard have been awesome. So many attended and had a really great time! Thank you to all who have shared pictures and experiences.

Here is a chance for all to share your experiences.?
Now that you've had a chance to get home and let all the good vibes soak in,?please take a moment to fill in the survey so the region knows what to continue and how to serve our singers the best way possible.?

Your answers will not be made public. No judgements. This is just information to help shape future events.

If you did not attend, there is a small moment on the survey for you too so we can gather information on how to serve the most members. You will not have as many questions to answer but please share your insights on the ones available to you.

Your voice will be heard.?
I realize there were some significant issues with the accommodations.?
Before you share those experiences, and we do want to hear them, be aware that the responsibility for the unsatisfactory hotel situations is Harrah's.?

Research and planning went into securing this hotel. Live visits and discussions with staff indicated that we could expect a smooth, affordable, safe weekend with a helpful staff. The committee did their part. Harrah's fell short in certain areas. It is not expected we will return to this hotel.?
Let this information guide your responses.?

I tried the survey out on myself, and it seems to run smoothly but if you run into any issues, please reply to me at moonsuep@...?
.
Find the Survey Here:

Your voice is vital. It wouldn't be a Summer Sizzler without you. Our goal is to determine which successes should be repeated, what lessons we have learned, and what unique ideas we can try. Answer as many as you can, skip what doesn't apply to you.

Thanks to all who returned medals or are in communication with me to negotiate your needs.

Thank you for everything YOU do to support your region and participate.
If you would like to do more to contribute, the region is eager to find a place for your talents!

Have fun, share your voice, and let's make 2024 the best Sizzler yet!
Coming the first weekend in August 2024!

Hello Region 11 members!

As we prepare to gather in Laughlin next week, we want to remind everyone that COVID-19 is still present in our communities. There has been an uptick in cases and hospitalizations across the country in recent weeks.

If you are feeling ill, please stay home. We also encourage everyone to wear a mask while we are gathered together. This is a crowded location where people will be coming from all over, and we want to take care of our high-risk members.

Thank you for your cooperation. We look forward to seeing everyone next week!

开云体育

Hello all you Region 11 All-STARs!? Looking forward to a wonderful weekend in Laughlin and we want to make sure everyone has a chance to do some singing!!? The schedule will include some STAR sessions that everyone can attend including:
Friday morning sectionals led by some R11 All-STAR volunteers!
Friday afternoon STAR review/rehearsal session!
A short performance by the STAR chorus for the Regional audience!
Check your schedule when it comes for more info (sectional rooms TBD, check with registration that morning), but for the Friday sessions we'll try to sing through ALL of the Regional STAR songs (available on the Region 11 website, password Starsinger), and for the short performance we'll focus on Happy Together and It's My Song (with Harmony Leads the Way thrown in if we can).? So I hope you join us for one or more of these STAR sessions, at least to review the STAR songs and do some SINGING TOGETHER AT REGIONAL!!!
See you in Laughlin and let's bust some chords!!!

P.S.? There is no planned tag session so I'm attaching a few you can save/bring and sing around if you have 4 parts!? Enjoy!!
