For anyone who needs to make a reservation at our overflow hotel, the Four Points Sheraton in Ventura, the hotel contact is out of the office until Tuesday. She is the only one who can take reservations.

Harborlites Diva Day Show
Hello Region 11, After a 3-year hiatus, Harborlites Chours is excited to welcome over 180 students from 16 high schools to the 16th annual Diva Day Music Festival. You are all invited to attend the “Festival Showcase” on Saturday, February 4th in Costa Mesa. Come and enjoy the Diva Day Chorus under the direction of Melody Hine. The Harborlites Chorus and chapter quartets will also perform with featured performances by Rising Star Champions, Valkyries, and International finalists, Lucille. See the attached flyer for details. Doors open at 4:30 P.M. for the 5:00 P.M. show. And best of all, the show is FREE! We will gratefully accept donations. Plan to join us for this exceptional evening of barbershop harmony. RiverOaks Director Search
RiverOaks is a small, friendly chorus with a 44-year history, seeking to grow in membership and skill level. We enjoy singing in and for our community and we plan to participate in the spring 2024 Region 11 competition. We are sad to say good-bye to our current director, Dave Tautkus, and we’ll be inviting guest directors to audition for us as we begin searching for our next permanent director. Our weekly rehearsals are held in the central San Fernando Valley (Van Nuys) at 6:30 pm on Tuesday nights. ***?Attention?Region 11?members*** We periodically honor individuals within our Region who have gone above and beyond in service to our Region. The prestigious Noteworthy Award is presented ?"in appreciation and gratitude for distinguished, dedicated service that made a difference to the advancement and excellence of Region 11."We are now taking nominations for the Noteworthy Award. This award is presented to an individual(s) in recognition of outstanding service to Region 11 and is presented during our upcoming contest weekend.
Nominations for this award may be made by chapters or individuals and must be received by?February 24, 2023.
The final decision is made by consensus of the Regional Management Team (RMT). This award is not necessarily presented annually and may be presented to more than one individual at the discretion of the RMT.
As you can see from the list below, this is a distinguished award presented only as a result of much-dedicated service to Region 11.?Please note that this award is for contributions to Region 11, not your chapter.

Region 11 Contest Entry Now Open!
Greetings Region 11 choruses and quartets! "Intent to Compete" forms are now open for Region 11. Your chorus leaders and quartet prime contacts may now register for your region's contest.?Only chorus presidents/team coordinators, directors, or treasurers can register a chorus (or prospective chorus)?for competition, and only the quartet contact can register a quartet. The following links will take you to the regional competition webpages. Please note that the entry deadline is?January 30 (quartets) and January 31 (choruses). As well as the late fee, your chorus/quartet will not be entered into the initial draw for order of appearance, drawn 55 days prior to competition (February 6), but rather in a secondary draw two weeks later (after the late entry deadline). No entries will be accepted after the late entry (45 day) deadline - no exceptions!
