CALLING ALL REGION 21 CHAPTERS

You have a unique opportunity to send four selected leaders to participate in
a Chapter Leaders Retreat led by world-renowned educator Dr. Louise Thompson.
Dr. Thompson is a highly regarded professional in education and
communication. She was the “talk of the town” at I.E.S. 2000. Here’s what
Region 21 attendees at I.E.S. had to say:

question asking, processing, pacing, setting the tone for a rehearsal . .

Purpose: To provide an interactive communication workshop to help chapter
leadership become better at “connecting” with their audience and working
together as a team.

Who should attend: It is recommended that the Director and President/Team
Leader attend as a minimum; you may also include other chapter leaders who
spend time in front of the chorus.

Registration fee: $50 per person Participants to pay own hotel,
transportation and meals. Sunday morning Continental Breakfast will be
provided.


PROPOSED WEEKEND SCHEDULE:


Friday evening - 8:00 p.m. - 10:00 pm Opening with Kim Hulbert and Lori
Lyford
Saturday - 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 pm; 8:00pm-10:00 pm Interactive Session with
Dr. Thompson
Sunday - 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon Break Out Sessions “Making It Work”

DR. LOUISE THOMPSON

Dr. Thompson is president of Louise Thompson Associates, Inc., a Boston-based
consulting
firm established in 1986. She has taught all around the world, making
interactive presentations
on topics ranging from leadership and learning to educational, organizational
development and communication skills. She has worked as a teacher, counselor,
guidance director, and assistant principal, assistant superintendent and
college instructor. She holds both a masters and
Doctorate in education.
