Thank you all for the wonderful response to my last update on Rich
Hasty. Rich is at Community Medical Hospital for at least another week going through physical, occupational and respiratory therapy. Once they're convinced that he has the support he needs at home, they'll release him. But he still won't be able to put weight on either leg for six to eight weeks. Members of GoldNote Chorus are or have already built a ramp so he can get in and out of his home with his wheelchair. And Rich and Kristin are making plans for rearranging their home so he'll be able to manuever around the house. Things are looking up but it'll still be a long haul for Rich and Kristin. I received an email from Alan Gordon asking about a fund for Rich. I took his suggestion to our Management Team and we decided to set up a fund for anyone wishing to help Rich and Kristin. We'll handle it through California Heartland Chorus and get the funds to Rich and Kristin. If you would like to contribute to the fund, please send your check or money order, payable to California Heartland Chorus, to me at: Bea Knaapen, 4912 N. 7th St., #103, Fresno, CA 93726 Thank you again for your support. Rich and his family all appreciate your thoughts and prayers. |
