Hi Robert, I use a 2 ply mat board that is 13x19 that I buy from B&H photo. You can also change the platen using the epson media software. It comes with the printer. Greg

Just use a bigger plate and forgo the carrier entirely. That is what I do. It takes some finesse to load but works great and no hangups . . . regards -Walker
