since sending this I was able to get this working, removed irc6.openquad from the config and just run ircv.4 everything is working as it should

You may need to enable it Hold on while I ssh in Yup SSH in and run qnconfigure in your SSH terminal. Then choose option D (upper case D) then you can choose what is Displayed on the dash The page

I have not, but it should run on any unix system on which you are able to install the necessary dependencies. Give it a try, and let us know how it works.

Please John, if you want to start a new subject, then start a new thread. QnetGateway has no automatic update mechanism. You'd have to build that yourself with cron.

That's weird. <cstring> *is included* in IRCutils.h, which is included in IRCDDBApp.cpp. You can try adding '#include <cstring>" to the beginning of IRCDDBApp.cpp, but if you system isn't finding

In your build directory, first type 'make base'. That will build qngateway and qnlink and a few other things. If there are errors here, you'll clearly see them. Then depending on the modem you have
