Re: Issues
Hi thre,
I had the same problem. DO you have any kind of an ethernet adapter? The key is to get the Pi up where you can run the raspi-config script.

Re: Cannibalizing a pistar installation for Qnetgateway?
Let me just chime in here with my 2-cents-worth. You only need to hash your password if you are worried about someone breaking into your Pi to learn how to use your WiFi. If someone has come through

Re: an accessible method of installing qnet gateway?
OK so I've finally gotten this all to work on my Pi-0. ?For some reason when I would edit the wpa_supplicant.conf file, and move it over to my SD card, the Pi-0 would not detect my wifi network. ?So

Re: values for the ./qnconfig script?
Justin
They have default values, so you don't need to set them. You would only change the device path if you're ZUMspot isn't on the GPIO header.
Anything that shows <DEFAULT> typically does not

Yes. That simply builds your supplicant file. Which is not specific to pi-star in any way.

Re: Cannibalizing a pistar installation for Qnetgateway?
I think some situations would require your wifi password to be in "hash" form. There is a tool on the pi-star website that will generate the supplicant file for you with that encrypted version of the
