Re: new server install
Very cool. I had that thought cuz the openspot has a irc6 option for use in Europe but its not functional here.

Re: QnetGateway Responsive Dashboard
You may need to enable it Hold on while I ssh in Yup SSH in and run qnconfigure in your SSH terminal. Then choose option D (upper case D) then you can choose what is Displayed on the dash The page includes instructions and the list of options. Then DO NOT FORGET to write the new configuration and then refresh the dash page on your browser. new server install
Hi, just found QnetGateway while working on setting up a Icom RP2010.? I have Icom server software running on a disk but am looking to switch over to ircDDB just for the linking capabilities.? I've had some real issues getting ircDDB working on any linux distro stand alone.
so this morning I loaded QnetGateway, like what I see so far but seem to be having issues connecting to irc4.openquad.net or ircv6.openquad from what I'm reading password is "blank" for both systems?? not sure what else it could be not a linux guru by any means.? any thoughts? Re: ICOMGateway and 23cm
¿ªÔÆÌåÓýYou mean the DD unit? Probably not. I'm way to busy with M17 and
QuadNet. However, the 23cm DV unit should work like the others. On 2/8/23 20:50, Dan Ozment wrote:

Happy New Year Karty!
No I haven't either, but as long as you follow the instruction in QNetGateway and add the dependies as Ryan stated you should be ok.? Make sure you use a Debian OS or one that's kin to it. 73 and keep having fun with it.? Soon if not now you are or is the SME (Subject Matter Expert) on the RockPi - 4B |

Re: github search results
Different subject but I think I fixed my Raspberry pi keeps forgetting how to talk to the router issue. (New router. TP-link Archer 10 Has 3 SSIDs One for 2.4 G (Pi's use that) one for 5G (Add the number 5 to the 2.4 G ssid) laptops use that. One for Guests (no peer to peer as configured) I get to pick which band too) ANd other unused features.. But I've had "linked time) hit 18 hours .. The only times I've heard "The module is not linked" since my last router restart was either due to Crontab. Or due to me. issuing an unlink command (Crontab auto-switches reflectors for me for a few nets.. I like that feature of Linux). Question though. I know pi-star does an early AM auto update/restart.. Does Qnetgateway do something like that? Re: Recent git pull fails to install
That's weird. <cstring> is included in IRCutils.h, which is included in IRCDDBApp.cpp.

You can try adding '#include <cstring>" to the beginning of IRCDDBApp.cpp, but if you system isn't finding this in this instance, there are probably going to be a lot of other errors like this one. Re: Recent git pull fails to install
The error I got after doing a 'make base'
My qn.cfg file ircddb_login='N2NRV' ircddb0_host='ircv4.openquad.net' module_b=itap module_b_device=/dev/ICOM4100 gateway_latitude=42.580390 gateway_longitude=-75.528590 gateway_desc1='N2NRV at home' link_admin='N2NRV' dplus_authorize=true I use my ID-4100 in terminal mode if that makes any difference. |
Re: Recent git pull fails to install
In your build directory, first type 'make base'. That will build qngateway and qnlink and a few other things.
If there are errors here, you'll clearly see them. Then depending on the modem you have configured, you will make it. If you are uisng an DVAP, then type 'make dvap'. If you are using an MMDVM compatible modem, then type 'make modem'. If you are using MMDVMHost, then type 'make relay'. In any event, post your qn.cfg file so we can see how your software is configured. |
