Re: QnetICOM Two Questions: Link at Startup and Timout

1. Just enter reflector and module in qnconfig you wish to link to at startup. Example: XRF123 A

2. There is no timeout. However, it will drop the connection if the reflector stops responding for a period time, likewise, the reflector will do the same. qnlink log should show if a user issues an unlink command.

3. cron should be able to use qnremote to link/unlink on schedule. A gotcha would be you can't issue a linking command when you are already linked, so you would need to issue the unlink command first, and then the link command. This isn't a cron gotcha though, this is a qnlink gotcha as a whole. You must always unlink before linking.

4. The qnlink log should print a line that has [NOT LINKED] or [LINKED TO XRF123 A] after each transmission the repeater processes.? QnetIcomGateway prints to the journal, so you can use journalctl to view the qnlink log, or you can look through syslog, which is usually in /var/log/syslog.
