I had a problem similar to this several years ago with a QSI 516 WSG camera - after a number of attempts I discovered a loose filter that was causing a jam in the filter tray and probably causing?a current?overload.? Cleared the filter and the camera has since worked without out issue.? Long shot but maybe worth checking.

Every thing was working well the first time. But the second time (two days later), the camera emitted a bip on power on, followed by a sequence of yellow LED blinks. According the information I found this is related to a firmware update. But I haven't initiated any firmware update. So, could this be something else ?
I can see the camera in the Windows Device Manager, but I can't connect it.
