The FDIM Buildathon boards should be received in Monday's mail and I will be mailing the kits that were ordered for QTH delivery hopefully on Tuesday....but I'm not ruling out mailing them from Fairborn OH.
Kits for the Buidathon builders will travel with me via car and will be available AT the Buildathon as usual.
I had to pay 145% tariff on the boards as per the current trade situation. That 145% is calculated not only on the boards but also the bank fees and air freight fees added to every China based order. China businesses hate to pay any fees so orders are hit with bank fees, Paypal & cred card fees and any other fee that crops up in a transaction. In the past, when timing is tight, I've had to orders pcb with quicker turnaround time charges. Quicker is 100% surcharge and EVEN Quicker is 200%. Tariffs would be added to those fees so they turn into accumulated charges of 290% and 435% for faster pcb production. Needless to say, I accepted the standard fab & delivery fees this year.
