Re: 401 Size Can?

As an addendum, I've found a number of things at stores like Dollar General, Family Dollar, Big Lots, and the dollar stores in some choice (and more uncommon) cans/tins. Those are the very next places I hit if WalMart/Target/Walgreens/local grocery store doesn't have anything. We don't have Food Lion/Publix/Piggly Wiggly, etc., here. We do have Aldi's.? I almost forgot about them. Another good source.

Google says a 12.5oz can of chicken should be able to be found in a 401-size can.? I also seem to remember I bought some Asian food (I don't remember exactly what) and some bbq or chipped/chopped beef stuff in the same squatty, much shorter-than-a-can-of-corn-sized can.? ?

Has anyone found success in finding a 401-size can? I have measured every can at our local WM and aside from the occasional 6" huge size, the largest I "can" find is the 307 size as shown. Our WM is next door to our snowbird campground and walking distance, but before I take the two hour drive to Costco I thought I would seek an extra breadcrumb locally. My next search will be Public 3 miles away.
