I love the Rockmites! My best was Rockmite to Rockmite unscheduled by chance. Stockton,Ca to near Tacoma, Wa. That was back in the day. About a week ago I happened to work Dave Benson K1SWL, the guy who came out with that rig. He was doing a POTA. Now I play around with ¡®cricket¡¯ rigs a lot. They are budget friendly.

Love reading the QSO reports! BTW had my RockMites out on Saturday, got 4 QSOs on my home brew (Manhattan) RM-160 plus Tuna Topper amp and 26 QSOs on a barefoot home brew RockMite 30.
