OK, I'll start about my emergency setup.? I live on the Mississippi Gulf Coast.? I went thru Katrina and was without electricity from September to late November.? Without phone till March of 2006.? I did have a generator, but that couldn't be used as there was no gas available.
That is the basis for my buildup of alternate energy sources.? I started building up a solar setup that now has the capability of producing 4 kw/hr and battery storage of 24kw.? I will note, that the solar setup is not deployed, but is kept in a ConEx box on my property with float chargers to keep the batteries topped off.? I could activate it in about 4 or 5 hours of time.
But, that is not all and I will post more in the?future.
