While Zooming today, I mentioned an OM who built a wooden Morse bug. He is in fact Gary Johnson, NA6O, of Livermore CA. You can find an article on his bug at the site below. Check out this web SDR. It will skim 13 HF FT-8/WSPR bands at the same time and send the results to PSK Reporter. This may solve my problem of not just transmitting WSPR. It is a basically a KIWI SDR with some added features. It has built in GPS for time and frequency. It will also receive VHF up to 2M. All for around $300.

Cliff, I applaud your drive to find "the real thing." One time on All In the Family, the neighbor's dog ate Archie Bunker's (Carroll O'Connor) foot-long hot dogs. The neighbor replaced them with regular versions. Archie complained that regular hotdogs "taste shorter."

Went out yesterday to find Ye Mein, traditional (6 foot) Long Noodles.? Disappointed, the 99 Ranch doesn't carry them, the Mexican stockers hadn't heard of them, several old "Ma"s didn't know either.?
Fortunately the east bay has other real Asian groceries so I'm not sunk yet.
