Yes it is.? Here's how I set mine up.? I put the stake into the ground and then extend antenna to where it is resonate on 14.060.? Then I attach 2 radials.? Then I connect antenna to KX2 with? 25 feet of RG174.? Turn on KX2. Tune with auto tuner to 1.0-1.? Operate.? If I change bands, I tune in frequency say on 17 meters, hit autotuner, wait for 1.0-1 swr match and operate.? ?It works great, I make all the contacts I want.? If I can hear them, I can work them.? Simplest, best antenna I have ever used for portable operation.? Setup is 3-5 minutes, Teardown is about half that.? Cost less than $30.
