I have a broken QRP+ that I am trying to sell for a silent keys xyl.? ?I tried to repair it by replacing IRF510 because the radio was pulling down the 12v PS to around 3 volts.
It was a pain to swap out and the radio worked for about 15min the the same issue came back. I also bought a spare final but never installed it. When it was working I was getting
about 3 watts out.? I have no more interest in trying to fix the radio. Willing to sell it for parts if your interested.

The only way I know to 'load software' is to replace the eProm that contains the 'Firmware.'
Any loading of the eProm needs to be done outside the rig and I'm not even sure blank eProms are available any more?
I've never had to investigate that route. I alos don't know where you could get the code!
My best suggestion would be to find a broken doner QRP+ and take the eProm from that.
The eProm is soldered to the board -- so it's not going to be an easy swap :-(
Hopefully it won't be an eProm issue.
I have repaired two?QRP+?radios and they were both failed?SBL-1 mixers.
