QMX and Digi

 

Howdy all,

I finally was able to get the QMX on the air last night since having it for over several months now. Mine is setup for 9v and I¡¯m using a wall wart tO power it at the moment. It worked well on CW, making a nice contact and qso to KS from NV, and then several Digi contacts to China, Argentina, NV, Japan and New Zealand, using the iPhone iFTx app. I didn¡¯t see any output from anything in the screen but still need to play with the settings.?

I love the iFTx with the QMX. Those are some good QSO¡¯s there.

I see the signal strength and power in DIGI mode as with the others. Using VOX, I did need to lower the thresholds a little but it is about the easiest way to FT8.?
