Will setting this to on allow PTT via one of the three USB comports (not cat)? I have some older apps that would benefit from this.

No, if you are referring to the System config setting 'PTT as Serial 3', don't use it.? That refers to using the PTT output connector as a second serial port, which is not fully supported and requires hardware jumper changes.

Just use beta firmware v_007 (just released today), and set "USB serial ports" to 2 or 3, and the additional com ports will appear on your computer via the USB cable.
