I went to finally update the new software but chose the fist alpha version by mistake....v 100 001 .... I can no longer find the upgrade software in the menu settings if the rig with this firmware...thoughts?

there's a hardware way to force update mode, it's in the manual, something like connecting Aux2 to ground then start.

Agree use putty telnet via comport!
