About the best option for sharing physical COMM ports is using TCP/IP.??

????? WSJT-X has a radio option for it, and most logging programs will also connect to it.
?
There is also a hardware option - create your own 1-wire (plus ground) serial BUS. And connect to multiple physical computer ports.
?? Just mimic the Icom CI-V connections, which requires several 2N2222 (2 at each device).
?? Icom uses addresses, but the reality is that every device connected, will receive the data, and any device can send.
?? Addressing, just makes sure the right device acts on it, but in your case, it would work.
?? I won't go into any more detail here, since this really is more effort than value (in my opinion), but mentioned as an option.
