ARRL is the American Radio Relay League.? Others have confirmed that non-members can also comment.

I'll send a comment in support shortly, wherein I thought to emphasize his contributions to amateurs worldwide.? Maybe a comment in that vein, coming from Germany, would count for more...

Nominations for the ARRL TECHNICAL INNOVATION AWARD have to be in by 3/31/24.?? Please send your nomination email to sewald@... quickly.? If everyone that build a U3S, QCX, QCX+, QCX-MINI, QDX, and QMX would send a nomination email the ARRL just might get the MESSAGE.?? I did go to their "official" nomination wiki to try to do it the official way and it was a colossal pain in the petunias.? So, I started a email campaign with the LAS CRUCES QRSS MAFIA and other QRP.LABS builders that I know.? I really hope Hans wins. because he really deserves it.

Just need additional supporting emails to Steve Ewald, WV1X ,?Field Organization Supervisor?(via?sewald@...) by May 1, 2024 showing why he should receive the award - should not be difficult!

First time ever that I've bothered with this stuff in 40+ years.

But I've used Hans's kits for 14 years now, U1,U2,U3,U3S,GPS kits.

Got? bunch of them, all run perfectly and given me an almost zero cost
hobby with a difference.

The difference is the special catering for ultra weak signal modes for peanuts,
that come with frequency stability and precision that NO major manufacturer offers.

I enjoy having sub 1Hz precision on TX for peanuts, and a QLG2 to provide
a UTC clock, as well as 1pps timing pulses / location data for external equipment
to use it's data.

I've sent my support and nomination to Steve at the ARRL.

Anyone who knows Dave will know that he's probably build and used some 30 (yes THIRTY) QCX's
in all forms in his projects.

I and many others have benefitted from his work using them.

Note I nominate Hans Months ago and his nomination has been accepted and he has been notified by the ARRL.? Now the selection committee has to decide who gets the award between various nominees.? Please send additional supporting data so Hans comes out on top - as I believe he should (you do not have to be an ARRL member)
