BPF tuning #bpf #qcx20mini

In the instructions it references the setting from 4-8 o¡¯clock as being ok. ?If it¡¯s on the sides the toroid needs some more or fewer windings based on the side. ?

What if it is on the top? I didn¡¯t see any option there. ?I assume it¡¯s ok?
thanks,
mike

Top is ok too Mike. It's good to turn the capacitor through a full revolution. Sometimes there are two peaks and one may be much higher than the other one. As long as you are displaying 08 or so you are working well.

RR,
yes it¡¯s at 08 with 31 bars as the max. ?Did a loop around once each way to verify.

thanks!
mike

Well Scratch that.? I put it back together and the max i can get now is a 06. Maybe I mis read.?

Do these look decent #s before I put it in the case?

BPF: 06-31

These bounced around alot but I measured where it was consistently lit up

The BPF is too low. The other three depend on the setting of the volume control. As long as they are all minimized it is probably right.?

The BPF is acting like something happened to the lowpass filter. The last test signal is introduced at the ?NC, goes through the lowpass filter and then through Q5 to the receiver input.?

Are you making decent power output from the transmitter? If not, check for continuity from the BNC center pin to the C29 end of L3.?
