Hi All,
? ? ?Since Hans may me discontinuing the 5 watt amp for the U3S I have been considering trying the QDX. My question is, will the QDX do both WSPR and FSKCW, and if so, in sequence, and also multi bands as the U3S does?

QDX is software dependent so you'd have to tack on something like a Raspberry Pi, ergo larger package.
QCX will do most of what you want, WSPR and QRSS (FSKCW, not so sure). Multi-band hop, no.

I would strongly consider U3S with 10W HF PA. Larger package but I've been impressed by the resiliency of that PA. Cabling between the units might be a challenge: U3S --> 10W --> switched LPF --> Antenna

I don't see why using the proper output attenuator on the U3S that output could be kept at around 5W.?
