QDX Rev3 L12 upsidedown?


 

Is L12 in the photo on pg. 24 upsidedown? My start of the wire goes over the top and the end goes underneath. I wound it according to the directions, but the one in the photo is the opposite.

I think you're right.? The one on page 24 does look like it's wound in the opposite direction of the previous pages.? You can clearly see the wire at the start of the windings is coming from underneath the toroid to get to it's mounting hole.

But, I don't think it matters, as long as the taps are at the correct turns location.? And with ALL the holes on outside of L12, you could wind it either way, and it will fit the same.

As far as I know, a "coil" wound in one direction versus the opposite direction still work the same...
Right ???? ( I'm sure someone will correct me if this statement is wrong...?? :)? :)??
