QDX shipping update
Hi all Certain US orders are being shipped from our US stock and are being handled in chronological order of placement. These have been pre-shipped to US via FedEx and will now reach you via USPS domestic post. You will receive a notification email advising you when it has shipped and can generally expect to receive the package 2-3 days later via USPS. We don't bother with providing the USPS tracking number since USPS are generally fast and reliable, and copy/pasting the tracking numbers would be an additional admin overhead when frankly I'm busy enough already. Other US orders and all non-US orders are being shipped from our Turkey QTH?and are being handled in chronological order of placement. You will receive a notification email from QRP Labs shop with the tracking information when your order has been shipped. If you booked TNT/FedEx shipment you will also receive an email from TNT with the tracking number.? Remember that order status "Complete" means your order was placed and paid properly. The order status will become "Shipped" when sent.? Remember that some US email domains such as cannot receive emails from QRP Labs shop for unknown reasons due to draconian spam policies. If you ordered when logged in with a registered QRP Labs shop account, you can check your order status in the QRP Labs shop.? Remember?that TNT/FedEx shipments from Turkey are collected daily?from our QTH via the FedEx local agent and will show with status "Collecting" until they reach the nearest TNT/FedEx depot which is near Izmir 250km North of here. From there they fly out to the world. The initial TNT delivery date estimate is also wildly inaccurate until they have it in their hands in Izmir and even then the delivery date estimate could be a bit optimistic on occasion (in other words, they maybe think that they are better than they really are hi hi).? There has also been a period of high order volume even on non-QDX orders which was probably fueled by publicity around the QDX launch, and perhaps also the very nice ARRL review of QCX-mini in November's QST magazine which was published?at around the same time.? Since it never rains but it pours - we are also one person down here in Turkey right now... one of our team's son caught Covid19 at school. Since we are all double Pfizer'ed, technically we could continue unaltered however, another of our team is on Chemotherapy and we didn't want to take any risks with her health... so we sent Covid Mom home for a bit with a soldering iron and a box of QCX+ kits to assemble :-)? ? Separately and not entirely off-topic, my own more ancient Mum was visiting from UK now that travel was permitted, and enjoyed seeing the junior lab techs particularly the newest one (now aged 15 months). But I got her to help me tidy up the new QRP Labs office R&D section... a mammoth task not yet completed but at least major progress in the right direction. She went home yesterday too (hopefully without Covid19).? Please bear with us on all?matters, during this period of exceptionally high demand.? 73 Hans G0UPL |
Thanks, Hans!? BTW, for those in the US who really want a tracking number the USPS will notify you of ANY package on its way to you if you sign up for an account (and validate it) and enable that service. They don't tell you any of the details (like who the package is from) but those can be looked up on their web site.

It not only tells you about packages you are receiving, but provides an image of all normal-sized mail, like mail in the regular-sized envelopes and postcards.? I get an email every morning with these details, so I get to see the junk mail before it hits my mail box!? When there is a foot or two of snow outside, I know in advance if I need to make the trek out to the mail box.? I see I have a USPS package shipped by pirateship and coming from Sedalia, MO.? I have received QRP Labs kits from Sedalia before, so likely have the kit by the weekend.?? |
I received my shipping notice email (from US stock) for order 50001 this morning.? So in a week or so I should get the QDX.? Maybe I will be able to build over Thanksgiving... We will see.?? Hi Fred More likely, you should have it by Monday. Trust in USPS! I expect you will let us know on Monday :-)? 73 Hans G0UPL On Thu, Oct 28, 2021 at 5:44 PM Fred Spinner <fred.spinner@...> wrote:

Getting it built by Thanksgiving is really on me not the USPS.? The USPS is slowing down by a lot, but it's not THAT bad yet.? Chicago to here in Tucson area takes over a week, but I think a lot of that is Chicago.? Sedalia is probably going to be better. Monday?? Okay.? Optimistic but ok.? I might wind a few Toroids this?weekend, I have stock of most?of them.? But in general I know better than to build stuff on weeknights if I don't want to make mistakes! :)? Fred W0FMS? So that QDX is SMALL, like half a deck of cards small.?? Of course USPS made record time in delivering it to prove me wrong.? ?Am I stunned how fast it arrived this time.? I am going to attempt to attach a picture to this?email.. I don't know if that is the proper way.? Guess we will find out.? Still smaller than the picture looks.? Pretty Amazing.? Fred W0FMS? Have fun Fred...? Almost universally the first comment from people when they take delivery of their QDX is "wow I can't believe how small it is"... I noticed?that I forgot to include the dimensions on the QDX page so I have edited it just now?(88.6 x 63 x 25 mm). Still, the real cuteness factor doesn't really hit you until you have it on the bench in front of you! 73 Hans G0UPL On Sat, Oct 30, 2021 at 6:52 AM Fred Spinner <fred.spinner@...> wrote:

Yes George...? But your inquiry (help desk ticket) was 22 hours ago. Standard target response time for help desk tickets is stated as within one working day. And yesterday was Saturday. So I'm nowhere near late yet, in not responding.? In fact I will need to refer to my master list to answer your question of where in line your QDX order is... So I can to answer until I can check that on Monday. Well I suppose I could download it via cloud storage onto my phone and try to open it there but... I'm sure you can wait until tomorrow morning :-D 73 Hans G0UPL http://qrp-labs.com -------- Original message -------- From: Twolane <georgerandolph@...> Date: Sun, Oct 31, 2021, 4:36 PM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [QRPLabs] QDX shipping update

First, THANK YOU Hans for changing the email address on my order. I got both emails that you resent to my new email and your right. Charter.net does not allow emails to get through to the user/customer. I now know what my order number is, and know that when it ships, I will get the email :D.
Thank you for the assistance. |
