QCX; Less WSPR plotted and another issues.
Tonight I try to transmit for the experimental of WSPR on 40m band but I found only a few stations plotting my 5W signal from QCX. With comparing FT920 5W transmit WSPR the QCX's WSPR transmit has less plotting.
The result is only 2 station plotted by QCX? but 12 station plotted by FT920 the same power of 5W into a INV antenna. I don't know why...the firm ware is 1.00C. And again still remains the two issues as below; (1) "CW-R" mode is not available (2) WSPR frequency appears while the memory keying Anyone has the same issues? Hidehiko. |
Hello Hidehiko-san I already replied to you on this group, and by private message. I agree that CW-R does not work, and the beacon frequency appears while a message memory is being sent. I sent a private email to you for testing. Have you seen it?? 73 Hans G0UPL On Fri, Oct 27, 2017 at 2:09 PM, <qrper72@...> wrote: Tonight I try to transmit for the experimental of WSPR on 40m band but I found only a few stations plotting my 5W signal from QCX. Hello Hidehiko I do not know why your WSPR spots are different. Others have reported many WSPR reports with the QCX. I think more information would be useful. Are you using a GPS? Have you received your own signal locally? Are you sure your frequency and time calibration are correct? If they are not, but are marginal, this can explain why less reports would be received. And what firmware version were you using? Also one cannot ignore the possibility that if the transmitting sessions were at different times, then perhaps conditions were different. The number of reports you have is anyway low (I know, WSPR is not as common in Japan as in other countries, and the distance from everywhere makes it less likely to get international reports.? 73 Hans G0UPL On Fri, Oct 27, 2017 at 2:29 PM, <qrper72@...> wrote: Good evening dear Hans, |
