QMX USB device not recognized by windows

Matthias Rauhut All Messages By This Member #144759 Hi all, I tried to update my QMX today to the famous SSB SW. But the QMX is not shown as drive in the explorer, although it has worked before several times in last year. I tried all remedies utube offers: Re-install USB device drivers, USB root, power settings, repair windows etc, nothing worked. Even 4 different PCs, win10, win 11 and laptop with linux Mint. All tell the same error message.. Did also a factory reset of the QMX and used 3 different USB cables. No success. The PC see the device, but due to missing name do not not proceed.? ? Could it be a fault in the QMX? ? Has anybody any advice out there? ? ?
Paul - AI7JR All Messages By This Member #144762 开云体育 In the QMX menu, select Firmware Update, look in this forum (or the manual, too) for how this proceeds! I think you have to shutdown, then power on, to see the drive again. Once the firmware is loaded, it won't show the drive until you ask for an update. Stan Dye All Messages By This Member #144765 Matthias, you must: a) connect QMX with the USB cable to the pc b) power on the QMX c) use the QMX menu to put it in 'Firmware update mode' ? Then it should appear as a USB drive. If it does not appear within a few seconds, press the power-on button on the QMX again and it should appear. Stan KC7XE

Changed Device Parameters in registry as well (EnhancedPowerManagementEnabled) and switched the QMX In Firmware update mode.. ? Sometimes its good to ask, when you don't see the simple part,hi. ?
