this may be a dumb idea, i did a quick search and didn't find any reason not to post.

i think i am going to routinely use the qmx+ front panel swr tune function with my z-match manually - i have non-resonant doublet antenna.

the swr tune function uses encoder to select band, which can (i think) can be further tweaked in freq by the other encoder.

when you exit this tuning cycle, it seems to me that the VFO might be set to that frequency, rather than defaulting back to what was there before swr tune was invoked?
