I purchased a QMX+ wired and tested recently and when I cycle through the modes I only see CW or digital. In videos I see USB and LSB.

What am I doing wrong?

It isn’t available yet. V27 is dated 8-24. The newest version hasn’t been released yet that I know of.

If you have seen any videos with USB and LSB, they are referring to the receiver sideband setting, which is by default at USB to work with digital modes.? The QMX+ receives USB and LSB very nicely, a quiet receiver with good sensitivity, good audio (into appropriate headphones or an external powered speaker).

You receive SSB in either a) the digital mode, or b) cw mode with filtering set to 'none'.? If receiving LSB, you need to go into the system settings and change from USB to LSB manually (no automatic sideband switching yet).

There is currently no SSB transmit, although Hans is actively finishing the firmware implementation for it.? When completed, it promises to be an excellent SSB implementation.? You can search through the messages on this group during the past few months for several technical descriptions of the upcoming SSB implementation and progress in creating it.

And from the first page of the first section of the operations manual, the features overview, we have:

QMX is a standalone CW transceiver, or a Digimodes modem
You can use QMX on its own, plugging in earphones, power supply, paddle and antenna and
operating CW; or, you can connect it to a PC with a single USB-C cable, to provide CAT control
and Digital audio to the PC and use it with WSJT-X or other programs for single-tone FSK digital
modes (not suitable for PSK31 and phase shift modes until SSB is implemented).
