Hi all
Again - please bear with me patiently...
We're just getting out of what has been a very severe 'flu experience or maybe Cv19 variant, who knows. Even after making 3 babies, none of which arrived without "complications", I've never seen my XYL bedbound for a whole week. And I've never felt as ill myself,as during the last week, either. Weakened the mental powers as much as the body. Nasty virus, very!?
XYL appears to have mostly recovered. She got home yesterday evening with the kids, finding me laid out on the sofa in exactly the same position she'd left me 5 hours earlier, and not having made it at all to the office all day even for a moment. She told me they'd been at my son's best friend's house. And that his Father had had it too. She said he's a workaholic just like you (he runs a law firm in Mu?la city) and even HE spent 5 days in bed. (I disputed the offensive "workaholic" nomenclature). But anyway, she said, he went for some medication dispensed by IV drip and now he feels a lot better. And then she said, "tomorrow I'll take YOU for an IV drip!". I said "whoooooaaaaaa! I'm actually planning on feeling a lot better tomorrow already!"
Hence here I am today, feeling a lot better... But please bear with me as 2 weeks' email and helpdesk ticket backlog is non-trivial to catch up on...

Take your time -- projects won't go anywhere. When I had covid, I think what helped me the most was the plain old sleep. Lots of it. Which is very unusual to me (fellow workaholic here), but I was so weak I didn't have much choice. Good luck, don't rush it.

For those interested, there is something to learn.? Google ¡°vitamin c klenner¡± and start reading.
Fred Klenner was a general practitioner physician in North Carolina who found that vitamin C cured all of the viral diseases he encountered among his patients.
He administered it via IV injection, in doses most people would consider ¡°large¡±.? 50 to 100 grams of Sodium Ascorbate per day, split among several doses, was routine.
That Google search today produces its first hits on the PubMed national database of papers.? Clicking in I see several familiar titles of papers Klenner published.? But as a non-member I can¡¯t download the papers from PubMed.
Klenner left us approximately 25 published papers.? I¡¯ve found over half of them online.? Another doctor, Robert Cathcart, an orthopaedics physician also became interested in vitamin C and left a lot of material that ?Google can find.? Robert Landwehr left a fairly concise summarization of Klenner¡¯s work in his paper ¡°The Origin of the 42-Year Stonewall of Vitamin C¡± which is readily available.? And Linus Pauling was a prominent advocate for vitamin C, having written two books about it.
I¡¯ve never had vitamin C by intravenous injection, but taking 1 gram tablets works fine.? I have taken 10 grams of vitamin C per day for about 13 years, and much more when ill.? During COVID19 I doubled that for several years, but I¡¯m back to 10 grams again now.? I am a True Believer.? And a converted skeptic.
Hans, if you ever do take that medication by IV drip, please check whether it¡¯s vitamin C they¡¯re administering.? Several years ago I was at a doctor appointment.? I was chattering on about vitamin C to a nurse.? She got an odd look on her face and went away for a bit ¡ then came back with another nurse in tow.? This other nurse said she was from Romania, and that it was common there for doctors and nurses to take vitamin C by intravenous administration when ill.? Very interesting to hear a first-person account from someone in the medical profession.? Also interesting that the story originated in another country.
Vitamin C remains controversial here in America.? My view is this:? Learn what works.? Do what works.
Be well, all.

Hi Rich
Thanks for that.?
Today after repeated ongoing pressure from the XYL I went to the doc. But she didn't want to give me an IV drip. Instead some cortisone and painkiller injection and a prescription for 6 different medications... One was indeed effervescent Vitamin C in 1G tablets. The doc told me I have Covid19 in her opinion but there aren't any tests for it here anymore. She did take some blood for some other tests.?
I believe it's very common here also, IV injected Vitamin C serum.

Best wishes to you and your family. Take care, we need you Hans!
My 2c on medication: Vitamin C absolutely. All of us should have the ancient 2002 classic "Curing the Incurable - Vitamin C" book by Dr. Thomas E. Levy in their bookshelf. Vitamin D3/K2 is another alley, and while you're at it why not research the FLCCC protocols or Wellness Company products. D3 shouldn't be an issue in sunny Turkey, provided you spend an hour a day in the sunshine in your swimming trunks (wink-wink)
