What is the highest frequency you are using the TN0110s on?

Re: shorted PA on TX, dead SMPSU?
@Evan, thanks, I tested this as above, got 6.6k ohm gnd to Vcc and 2.3k ohm gnd to Vdd.
@Stan I've ordered new SMPSU boards and I'll report back when I've tested as per your message
Thanks to all

Re: Receiving AM?
The current QMX SSB receiver can receive AM because what is transmitted is the two sidebands and a carrier but it's not receiving it as AM, it's receiving as SSB using one sideband of the AM signal

Re: more WSJT-X touble
WSJT-X is frequently being updated and so is Hamlib.? The WSJT-X installation bundles a current version of Hamlib.
I found that for a recent version of Hamlib the QRP Labs radios has been changed

Re: Software Development and Requirements Creep
That was just a really tiny part of their business but my HP48 calculator my dad gifted me in 1993 as I was studying engineering is still on my desk ! The keyboard can have small faults, nevertheless

Re: SSB Calibration blown finals
Fascinating. ? ?Would be more so with :
supply voltages that blew them
power outputs that blew them
where the BS170’s came from
how they were mounted
etc…

What is the power output during normal CW or digital transmit or Transmit in the diagnostics?
AIUI the calibration has to be done over the full range of power output so I would expect it to be the

Just an observation re power output when calibrating.
I did another calibration with a digital SWR/ power meter hooked up, and noticed that the output was 6 watts at times during the calibration.

Re: more WSJT-X touble
I will try to update Hamlib, which until now is a mystery to me. Anyhow I selected TS 440 as? Rig. The funny thing is, that it all worked before.

Re: Errata for the Operations Manual
Hello Fred
For 9 months, I was working on the SSB project. For at least the last half
of that, I have been postponing handling any non-urgent items, until such
time as I had finished the SSB project

How did you deal with the reverse mounting/heat sink issue? I have purchased a set of those transistors just in case.

SSB Calibration blown finals
I have been running TN0110 finals and I calibrated my QMX+ with them. I wanted to see if the BS170 produced different curves so I installed BS170s and ran the calibration. When I was done, the finals

We see them, Fred.? We ignore them, because the meaning is clear.
I would rather Hans spend his time creating new features than correcting a <1% spelling error rate.
Having said that, yes, one of the

Re: Receiving AM?
The new firmware allows us to *transmit* SSB signals.
The QMX has always been able to receive SSB and AM.
Rig should be in "DIGI" mode, not CW mode.
If you want to receive outside the ham bands, go

Re: QMX+ Mono Audio Output
They are separate outputs, though for the moment they are the same. Don't think they should be tied together.
Maybe a small resistance from each output, tied to the common headphone? Don't know what

Re: QMX SSB settings for Winlink?
None of the mic-gain/agc/filter settings pertain to the USB / Winlink interface (assuming the software is as documented).
Only the phase and amplitude modulation compensation should make a difference

My headphones are mono-configuration is it okay to tie the audio outputs on the QMX+ together or should I just use one channel for output?
