Bench power supply for QDX, QMX etc

Re: QDX FDT86256 Mosfet PA Modification
Actually BS170 Ciss is 24pf. 24x3 = 72pf comparable to FDT86256¡¯s 54 pf is not too off though QCX class E PA caps still might need some tweaking. 73 Barb WB2CBA

Re: QMX assembly successful but no receive or transmit
Oh i see now. That makes sense. The BNC probably was shorted to the sma footprint on the PC board. I only wish I had worked on the BNC connector first. Perhaps T507 was ok after all.

QMX Repair - Anyone Interested?
You may have seen a post I did a few weeks ago regarding my QMX kit. After assembling it I discovered the dreaded short between Q103 and Q104. Power has NOT been applied. It is wired for 12 operation.

Re: QMX assembly successful but no receive or transmit
With just the jumper o C-C you should not have continuity from bnc center pin to ground. On the pcb there is a footprint for an sma connector. Make sure there is not too much solder and making
