Re: 50 Watt Power Amplifier - Low Power, High Harmonics #50w #50wpa
You want about 2W drive. There is no way possible to get 40VPP on the gates.? To do so you wired the input transformer as a step up... aka severely didn't do what was proscribed. Correct is less than

You can try this, and it works for me with a Rock 4 SE. I have supplied ideas for using RPI and Asus Tinker board too, but Rock4 SE definitely works. Since it¡¯s simply performing a read of the fq

Re: Ladder Line
Although at that spacing there might be some issues with power handling and flashover. Probably best to taper to 200 ohms or so and use a 4:1 balun from there.

Re: Ladder Line
It is quite doable to perform any impedance transformation you need by way of slow tapering of the ladder line; generally the closer together the conductors the lower the characteristic impedance

Hi Ken If you try to enter the menu system on the front panel, when the menu is already accessed by a terminal, doesn't it already show you an error message informing you? And why would WSJT-X be

Re: QMX+ and DTR/RTS like CW keyering
Even though CAT keying via the KY; command works fine, I still think it would make sense when you are in CW mode, if the CAT commands to switch to TX mode also activate the key. So I added this to my

Re: Ladder Line
An idea found on Internet: 6mm irrigation tubing cut to appropriate length and a small ty-rap fed through to pull the 2 lines tight. Easy to make and cost is minimal!

We have reports of quite a few rigs that work fine, then fail during calibration or digital transmissions. Once those FET's are installed on the board, the gates are fairly well protected by the ESD
