Hi, I finally replaced the red LED supplied by Hans by an orange bought from our local shop. My cheap Chinese tester shows Uf 1.87V for the red and 1.91V for the orange. So, the difference is smaller

Is it possible that this device was not calibrated (or is a cheap Chinese rip off) and doesn¡¯t have a calibration constant programmed into it? This kind of thing is not uncommon with DS18B20

I find it useful to save a configuration as "QDX Terminal" or somesuch. That way you get a reminder to select it before clicking "Open": Peter Lee *G3SPL*
