Re: QDX 80M getting 9W out?
I would also verify the harmonic content, as a high distortion or harmonic emissions can also confuse a power meter. 73 Evan AC9TU

Re: QDX has no power out

The 3.3 volt regulator measures 3.27 volts The 5 volt regulator measures 4.95 volts. Both are within spec, so not the issue. 73 Evan AC9TU

Re: Elecraft KXUSB with QCX Mini
Rich, I checked that the QCX mini heats up my dummy load, but I need test equipment to confirm that it's working right. And the receiver appears to be working as well, so I don't think that hooking up

Tuning Rate Cusor
Greetings, Just a question about the display on the QCX Plus. I finished the 80 meter version last week. It's working fine with 4.2 watts (13 volts) I was noticing a few days ago the tuning rate

My guess is that the MFJ is being ¡®a bit¡¯ generous. The only way to be really sure is to measure with a scope or a known-calibrated (at the frequency of interest) meter. Mike WM4B Sent: Monday,

QDX 80M getting 9W out?
Just wondering if anyone else is getting 9W or thereabouts on 80M with 12.2V and drawing 970mA and I have the 3:2 windings.? That is way higher than the graph on page 4 of the manual.? After tuning

Yes, and the signal is injected through a 100k resistor (ok, well, it has a fraction of a pF parallel capacitance too https://www.vishay.com/docs/60107/freqresp.pdf) so it will act as a "current
