Re: QCX20M #585 Transmitter Inoperative
It might be interesting if someone would write a set of test programs that
supported
individual function testing. In this case the code would activate only
CLK-2 on the

Re: QCX 80 Transceiver - Connection for a Straight Key
Hi Robin.
I have experienced this with other setups as well. A mono plug in a stereo socket will cause the ring and ground of the socket to short, thus keying a "dah".
Its simple to a stereo

Re: U3S drift/chirp - again!
Ian,
I did some measurements on my U3S with OCXO tonight. Calibrated a warm
TS590S (TCXO) on air 5MHz and to my rubidium 10MHz to within 1Hz in WSJT-X.

Come to think of it...this is QRP Labs and about the U3S kit.Lets remember what QRP is ...
QRP operation is not 20,30.40.50+ watts like QSO modes are usually abused. When I say abused I mean 30+ watts

Re: QCX 20m - Almost done... can't wait
Hi Keith,
There are about 30 SMD devices including two 8-lead ICs (not as close a lead pitch as the FST3253 as used in QRP Rx ).? R's and C's are 0805 , with four SMD can-type electrolytics.? The

Re: QCX Manual
Most of the toroids are easy. The only challenging one is T1; it takes
a bit of work to get all the wires in the right holes.

But how intrusive would an FT8 beacon be with such low power? Everytimne a new mode comes out,all rush to it while other modes are left for dead.
