Re: QMX+: low RX sensitifity @ 6m / 22 dB noise floor / 1500 Hz wistle
I decided to be brave and do the SSB upgrade. Ran the full calibration with no problems but it made no difference at all to the any of the spurs every 500Hz on 6m with still the strongest on 1500Hz

Re: CW offset & sidetone in 1_02_00 (QMX)
Hi Dan, Powered down nicely, far too paranoid to just yank the power cable hehe. On the QMX, I left the center and filter settings to default. On my QCX, was not aware you could mess with the filter,

Re: CW offset & sidetone in 1_02_00 (QMX)

Re: QRPLabs kits Ultimate relay-switched LPF
It is to expand the U3S (WSPR Tx) from single band to 6 bands. It plugs directly into the back of the U3S board. I believe there are some other uses for it, but that is the main one. You also have to

Re: How to enable transmit for winlink
Glad you got it working. Is the clicking coming out of a speaker/headphones?? Or out of the QMX itself? If from the QMX, that's probably not good.? None of the hardware should be making any

CW offset & sidetone in 1_02_00 (QMX)
Installed the latest firmware. I prefer a lower sidetone, so tried setting both offset and sidetone freq to 600. Normally run 580Hz, but it looks like 600 is the minimum value. This does not seem to

Re: How to enable transmit for winlink
Just for clarity...vox is *off*. Its working like a champ now and surprised, to be honest. Curious, what is that clicking? As far as I know the QMX has no relays? but hear a definite click on tx...
