I'm not sure what you want to do but IF tap is not possible. The QMX does not follow normal receiver practices.
With very delicate work you might get IQ out independently but would need to be

Re: QMX bad Audio and RF Sweep, no Image rejection
Update on this issue:
I saw the post about frequent problems with the PCM1804 and thought this would kind of fit to the problems my QMX had, so instead of testing further I just replaced the PCM1804,

This post has scrolled down really fast. Maybe this reply will get it a bit more focus. I'd really like to know if I'm on the right track - and I'm lost in looking for a good point on the board to tap

Re: Trying to understand linear PA 10W construction
Jerry, thank you for explanation. Being real "amateur" in RF I assumed this was a real resistance :) I can learn something new every day :)

Re: Max SWR
Hello Nico,
after some back and forth with ATU 10 and converted ATU 100, I decided on a 4S tuner from the four States QRP Group. This small, fine manual tuner works perfectly and is fun to set up. The

Those voltages all look fine for a v1 QMX.
The CPU has to be running in the bootloader to have set the PWR_HOLD signal, so it's at least partially OK.
And it won't try to start up the two smps

Nico, I don't sell tuners HI
If your tuner does not have a "tune" position, just use the "Tune SWR" tool in your QMX, that works at reduced TX power, and will put less strain on the finals.

This kit might be interesting: http://www.qrpkits.com/wallwarttamer.html

* Reuse those surplus wall warts or computer supplies as DC power

Re: Max SWR
Nico, manual tuners normally have a "tune" position, which engages some sort of SWR bridge. When the SWR bridge in engaged, the rig sees a maximum SWR that does not exceed? between 2:1 and 3:1

I agree with Chuck here: the more you use the rig on the air, the easier the whole zero-beating process will be for you. It's an instructive game.
