My directions were for rev03 QMX+ board that has SMPS's on the main board plus the JP105 connector. For earlier hardware with the SMPS boards, it's a matter of replacing those two plug in boards.

Steve, Thanks for getting back on this. Your 027 firmware is the latest, that is good to know. The V1 hardware should be fine. There are not many failures of this sort being reported in the forum,

Regarding winding toroids, I use and iPad, iPhone or other device with a camera, take a pic of the toroid and then enlarge as max as possible - makes it very easy to count the turns through the centre
