Re: QDX is dead. USB interface nonfunctional. Flummoxed. Help, please.
I see you mentioned the red light, so it must be the QDX. So how did you check the voltages and frequencies? -- 73, Dan - W2DLC

Re: QDX is dead. USB interface nonfunctional. Flummoxed. Help, please.
Jim,? I think we need more details. Is this a QDX or QMX? You can't monitor 5 volt and 3 volt supplies in the serial app on the QDX, and you can only see the TCXO output. Also, what happened leading

Confirmation of Assembled Unit Voltage
Hi, I have ordered an assembled QMX and am now waiting (more or less) patiently. I do have a question on the units that are assembled by QRP Labs. I believe they are assembled for 12v input voltage,

Re: SWR is too High!
The SWR is measured by the T507 and the components around it - you could check carefully to make sure that none of the nearby components has been disturbed. SWR is also affected by the efficiency of

Re: SWR is too High!
I removed the BNC connector, but I didn't measure any short on the connector. I also rewound T507 and rewound T501 for 12v. I ordered a nes BNC just in case.

Re: QMX first time power up issue
Whenever I try to copy over firmware, after it completes copying, I get the message saying access denied. I have tried to change the permissions but that doesn't work.

Hi Dan, That's interesting. I have a mini J38 key plugged into mine. I wonder if leaving it connected to the Windows tablet PC is partially to blame? Or are there buffers which get loaded up when left
