Re: **Band issues with new 60-15M QMX**
One more thing - the Power Down works with a long press on the VOL knob but a long press will not power up the radio.? I can only power it up by removing and reinserting the power plug???

**Band issues with new 60-15M QMX**
I just finished assembling a QMX for 60-15M.? I loaded firmware v 1.00_26.? I comes up on the 80M band and will not change to other bands.? In the Menu, I set System Configuration to "Band Version

Re: QRP Labs xciever with SSB capability
Hi again Ron A P.S. for you... Attached I show a very similar result to yours (though it may not immediately look like it). What I have in my code is effectively a sort of virtual multi-channel

#qmx Internal Speaker #qmx
Since there is room in the QMX case I decided to add a speaker.? I chose a 2" square speaker and grill from Amazon.? Unfortunately the grill and speaker mounting holes miss-align by a millimeter and

Re: QRP Labs xciever with SSB capability
Hello Manuel But isn't it great that the topic is still so interesting, controversial even? How boring would life be if we all agreed and nobody tried anything new! Yes I thin

Re: My #QMX died :-( #qmx
Hi, My QMX is back to life!!! Only the 3.3V supply board had to be changed. I didn't discover any other faults yet. The rest of the QMX seems to be really robust against peaks. Vy 73, Peter DL4PJ

Re: QRP Labs xciever with SSB capability
Hello Ron I'm not sure how that can reconcile with VK2IHL's result with the Polish example which uses drain amplitude modulation. He shows two tone peaks quite clearly and everything else below

RE some of the two tone plots from reading the links: I found with my experiments with a Teensy version of the usdx from the qcx board that a two tone test does not test the entire polar modulation

Re: QRP Labs xciever with SSB capability
Hello Bojan VK2IHL actually said regarding IMD3: ? -40dBc/IMD3 Excellent ? -30dBc/IMD3 Good ? -20dBc/IMD3 Poor ? -10dBc/IMD3 Very poor But there is some room for confusion, between whether you

Hi Hans, this difference of 15 dB in favour to the drain modulation compared to the gate modulation raises some hopes. Reading the article from the link about the measured IMD3 I realised the result
