OK.? This is something that I did not understand.? I assumed that the /LIN_REG_EN (I always? use / to indicate an active-low signal) was turned on during the startup test and then turned back off

Re: Help with QMX 60-15m 40M issue with receive
Bear with me please as I am still learning, but I believe the LPF for 40m must be good for 2 reasons.? 1 - transmit is 5w on 40m? and 2- the lpf sweep looks good.
By swapping, do you mean in the

Re: QMX rev 2 no power out
That is a BSS123 n channel mosfet. ?The gate should be switching to about 3.3v on RX mode and GND on tx mode. ?The drain should stay at GND regardless of mode. ?The source should be at GND on RX

Hi everybody. I had recently blown two BS170 in my QMX+. Fortunately, a friend gave me his from a spare qmx with CPU failure. Anyway, I decided to buy some other mosfets... just in case... You know...

In addition, the "QMX PSU test process.txt" document that is referred to in the " QMX QMX_plus internal power supply" wiki should be changed.? It says:

Re: Key clicks when AGC is active

Bruce, do you still have key click issues on 40 meters when feeding a dummy load? If they go away with a dummy, you may have a problem with RF getting into the rig which could be mitigated with a

Re: QMX+ Power Increasing Question
Greg,
it looks like an increasing load to IC503 produced by the PA. The higher load may affect also the load to IC501 and IC502.
Could you show the waveforms at G and D of each group of BS170 (with

Re: Firmware and Wiki question

Mark, I think Chris is right. So VDD = 3.01V is consistent and enough to run the controller.
I think, you are also right calculating this factor.
But the calculated Duty max don't fit to 8.1 V shown

Re: QMX settings for Varac
Varac is using the VARA protocol. This does not work well with QMX as it is shifted-tone, and thus based on SSB. SSB is not yet enabled on QMX - requires a new firmware version that many are waiting

Re: Firmware and Wiki question

I think that Vdd being low when running on the linear is a feature of the linear circuit.
The ground of IC1 is connected to ground through the diode D102 and this lifts the output by the diode drop
